The world is full of incredible places, and when it comes to travel, there are some destinations that we cannot ignore.
Many of these places are already favorites among travelers and top the list of most desired destinations. Others, however, are not so well known.
We have made a list of 10 wonderful places, whether they are full of tourists or not, but certainly worth visiting.
Navagio Beach – Greece
Navagio Beach is located on the island of Zakynthos and has an impressive view, as in addition to the beautiful color of the water, it is also surrounded by cliffs up to 180 meters. Access to this part of Greece is also only by boat.
Jiuzhaigou National Park – China
According to the Chinese, the nature reserve is the “world of fairy tales”. With 620 km², the site is home to imposing forests and hundreds of crystal clear lakes, forming a unique setting. One of its main points is the Lago das Cinco Flores, at 2,500 meters of altitude, the lake has crystal clear waters that reflect dozens of blue and green shades.
Monte Roraima – Brazil | Venezuela | Guyana
With an extension of 31 km², Monte Roraima spans three countries: Brazil, Venezuela, and Guyana. The target of superstitions and legends, the site is among the oldest geological formations on Earth. Exploring the place is not an easy task, the adventure can take 2 to 7 days, and a guide is essential to accompany the route.
Plitvice National Park – Croatia
Due to its geological and ecological importance, the National Park has declared a UNESCO Heritage Site in 1,979. With 20,000 hectares of native vegetation, forests, and lakes, Croatia’s most visited tourist attraction is home to incredible scenery, as well as bears, wolves, birds, and several rare species of animals.
Seljalandsfoss – Iceland
Seljalandsfoss is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. The waterfall is 60 meters high, and due to the geography of the place, it is possible to pass behind the waterfall, from where it is possible to appreciate even more the natural exuberance.
Hang Son Doong pits – Vietnam
Formed by the action of time, rain, and wear and tear, Covas do Vietnã are located in the middle of the mountains. The surreal and exotic landscape enchants visitors looking to discover different places.
Marble Caves – Chile
Located on Lake General Carrera, the Marble Caves are a separate attraction. Located in the province of Coyhaique, in Chilean Patagonia, the caves were created by the Tranquilo River’s clear waters, which, for millions of years, excavated a peninsula forming a maze of caves.
Lençóis Maranhenses – Brazil
A trip to Lençóis Maranhenses, in Barreirinhas, is capable of uniting adventure, tranquility, peace, and fun. The walks in this northeastern section are incredible, and the landscape even more so.
Maya Bay – Thailand
It is the most famous beach in Thailand and served as the main setting for the film “The Beach”, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
Negril – Jamaica
The Caribbean Sea shows up here and leaves this island in Jamaica with a unique shade of blue. Rocks and cliffs surround the place and make the territory simply cinematic. You can venture out for a while and the waves lap. There are no strong waves.
