Cottontail bar –Belltown Just Got their Fav. Bar Back!
What do you get when you take a well-known bar and move a few blocks away? Well, Belltown now has the best of Lava Lounge, the best of Mr. Darcy’s, and the best of Rabbit Hole all under one roof!
Yes, your go-to dive bar had a makeover and moved a couple of blocks.
Enter through the alley the door is painted with the name. – “Cotton Tail” And look to your left that would be the old bar Lava brought back to life. I don’t know if you can bring your favorite markers to leave your mark, but it would not hurt to ask. And like the old Lava Lounge, well-behaved pups are allowed.
Once you are on go to the bar area. Like other “dive,” bars place your order and pick up drinks. If the bar looks familiar – sort of Hemmenwayish that’s because it was part of the Sit and Spin.
And behind the bar high on the shelf some tiki hut themes. Say “Hello” to Brice. He will be there making your fav slushies.
Don’t forget to look up and see the star-shaped art deco star-shaped glass art. Oooh!
And behind the bar high on the shelf some tiki hut themes.
In the middle space is the Mr. Darcy theme.
Mr. Darcy was themed after the book Pride and Prejudice. You’ll know why this bar’s name is Pride and Prejudice – read the book or watch the miniseries at least once. Mr. Darcy’s bar was a small, dim cocktail bar with a few different seating options, an old piano, and books that made it a very flexible place for going out. So those who miss that bar can find it at Cottontail. Mr. Darcy’s sign is up and the piano is there too!
Now you get it – Cottontail is the best of the best.
An amalgamation of Mr. Darcy and Rabbit Hole and Lava Lounge.
Cottontail is a great speakeasy bar that looks like a mixture of the other pubs that were in the vicinity. Lava Lounge and The Rabbit Hole and Mr. Darcy, probably because they all have the same owner. Cottontail is a great place to have a perfect meet-up. And you can still order via Uber or Door Dash your favorite meals. Rococo’s Pizza anyone?
