Seattle Seafair is an annual summer event that celebrates the city’s maritime heritage. The festival includes a variety of activities, including a parade of boats, an air show, and hydro races. Seafair also features food and entertainment options, making it a popular destination for locals and visitors.

The Blue Angels are a squadron of six F/A-18 Hornet jets that perform daring aerial maneuvers at speeds of up to 650 miles per hour. They have been thrilling audiences at Seafair since 1959.
The Blue Angels air show is the highlight of Seafair. It takes place on the final weekend of the festival and features jaw-dropping stunts and formation flying. The planes fly so closely together that you can see the pilots’ faces. If you’re lucky, you might also catch a glimpse of the “thumbs up” signal, which means the pilots have completed their run and are ready to return to base.
Seafair is more than just an air show, though.
