In memory of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, a memorial walk has been built in Kensington Gardens. The Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Walk begins at the entrance to Kensington Palace and ends at the Round Pond. Along the way, there are several plaques that commemorate different aspects of Diana’s life.
Your walk will take through four different parks – St James’s Park, Green Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. This is a seven mile walk and you will get a glimpse in her life as the Princess of Wales.
In addition, you will also go by the palaces and mansions the late Princess stayed in or had an affiliation with – all of them!
Kensington Palace
Buckingham Palace
Clarence House
St James’s Palace
Spencer House, the one-time London house of the Spencer family.
If you are wondering about the plaque, it made especially for the gardens and show England and the Rose.
