Vancouver B.C is a scenic trip from Seattle. We started out early in the day – around 10 and yes we took the dog.
The trip was about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Just take I 5 north and wait once you are there at border control They checked our passports, gave the dog a treat and off we went.
Our hotel was near the park – Nelson Park. Once there, we gave the pup a run in the park and put him in the hotel. Next up was the Compass card. We wanted to see the cit sights, and it was better to use public transport. We got our card at the London Drugstore. I was told you could get it at other convenience stores as well as the stations.
This trip was for us the visit the museums.
The first stop was:
MUSEUM OF VANCOUVER
Just like Seattle, it was the home of the Salish people.
They are open every day.
Our next stop much later in the day was:
The Museum of Anthropology
They, too, are open every day.
After the museums, we headed back and went to;
BierCraft Tap and Tapas
Yes. Beer and Tacos and our dog could sit with us.
A great day in Vancouver!
