At Serendipity Travel, we want every purchase to feel as exciting as the journey ahead. We're a travel content and digital products site โ€” not a travel agency โ€” and everything we sell is designed to help you plan, organise, and enjoy your adventures with confidence.

Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, please read this policy carefully before purchasing. By completing a purchase on our site, you agree to the terms below.

Important Serendipity Travel is not a travel agency. We do not book flights, hotels, or tours on your behalf and have no liability for third-party travel services. Our refund policy covers digital products sold directly through serendipitytravel.net/shop only.

1. Digital Travel Planners & Downloads

All Digital Sales Are Final

All digital products sold through Serendipity Travel โ€” including the Dragonflies Travel Planner, travel guides, itineraries, and any other downloadable files โ€” are non-refundable and non-returnable once purchased.

Because digital files are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned" once accessed or downloaded, we are unable to offer refunds based on change of mind, dissatisfaction with content, or failure to use the product.

We describe every product in full detail before purchase. Please read the product description, preview any available images, and feel free to contact us with questions before you buy.

Before You Buy If you have any questions about what's included in a digital product, reach out before purchasing. We're happy to help you decide if it's the right fit.

2. When We Will Issue a Refund or Replacement

File Not Received

If you completed a purchase and your download did not arrive, contact us within 7 days. We will resend the file immediately or issue a full refund if we are unable to deliver it.

Corrupted or Unreadable File

If the file you received is corrupted, won't open, or is clearly not the product you purchased, you are entitled to a replacement file or a full refund. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase and briefly describe the issue.

Duplicate or Incorrect Charge

If you were charged more than once for the same product, or if there was a billing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full as soon as it is confirmed.

  • Contact window: All refund-eligible issues must be reported within 7 days of purchase
  • What to include: Your name, email used at checkout, the product name, and a brief description of the issue
  • Response time: We aim to respond within 1โ€“2 business days
  • Refund processing: 5โ€“10 business days to the original payment method once approved

3. What We Cannot Refund

  • Change of mind: Once a digital file has been delivered
  • Didn't read the product description: Each listing clearly describes what's included
  • Didn't use the product: Purchasing and not using a digital planner does not qualify for a refund
  • Device or software compatibility issues: Our files are standard PDF format โ€” contact us if you have trouble opening them
  • Results not as expected: Travel planners are tools to support your planning โ€” outcomes depend on individual use
  • Purchased the wrong product: Please double-check your selection before checkout

4. Third-Party Links, Affiliate Partners & Vendor Products

Serendipity Travel features links to third-party services including flights, hotels, car hire, tours, and affiliate partner shops (including Evintage on Bonanza and EvintageTreasures on Etsy). These are independent businesses with their own refund and returns policies.

We earn affiliate commissions from some of these links, but we are not the seller of record and have no control over, or liability for, any purchases made through them. If you have a refund request related to a third-party booking or purchase, please contact that vendor directly.

Affiliate Purchases Flights, hotels, tours, and products purchased through our partner links (Aviasales, Kiwi, Sandals, ShareASale partners, etc.) are subject to those companies' own refund and cancellation policies. We cannot process refunds for third-party transactions.

5. Physical Products

If physical products are offered through our shop or through our partner vendors, returns and refunds are governed by the individual vendor's return policy. Please check the relevant product listing or contact the vendor directly for eligibility and instructions.
