Plan your trip to South Korea

Planning a trip to South Korea was one of my most exciting tasks. The nation’s rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes promised an adventure like no other. As soon as I decided to visit this East Asian gem, I started learning about its customs and traditions. Reading about South Korea’s deep-rooted Confucian principles still govern their societal structure was fascinating.

Brief travel tips

Make sure your passport is updated.
Also, you don’t need to get specific vaccinations to visit in South Korea and the country as a whole, of course.
Updating the vaccines is always recommended so you are more relaxed about your health and well-being during the trip.

Organizing my itinerary required meticulous attention to detail because many places in South Korea piqued my interest. From bustling Seoul with its high-tech subway system and skyscrapers contrasted against historic palaces and street markets Busan featuring beautiful beaches and hot springs, Jeju Island renowned for its volcanic landscape, cavelike lava tubes, and lush green tea fields – it seemed impossible to fit everything into one trip! However, prioritizing based on personal interests helped simplify planning.

One highly anticipated part of my journey was experiencing authentic Korean food from its source – indulging in flavorful kimchi and bibimbap prepared by local vendors who have preserved these traditional recipes for generations. Alongside the culinary tour, I am also keen on immersing myself in K-pop culture by visiting significant entertainment company buildings in Gangnam district, where artists often hold fan meetings or mini-concerts. Moreover, exploring the serene Buddhist temples nestled amid scenic mountains will provide a spiritual dimension to my trip – perfectly rounding off what is sure to be a captivating exploration of South Korea.
