Ann Wilson

How could you not go see Seattle legend Ann Wilson? Especially when she’s playing at the Washington State Fair! To see all those cute farm animals and hear classic tunes from one half of Heart.

FarmJam Festival 2022

Do you need a summer indie music festival? Look no further than FarmJam, which features 16 different bands, including Jessie Leigh, Jeff Crosby, and the Scooter Brown Band.

Tumbleweed Music Festival

Since its inception in the late 1990s, Gorillaz has maintained a fairly stable level of popularity. The virtual band has a lot of hits, and we’re sure you recognize at least a few of them. Plus, the band is taking over Climate Pledge Arena for this performance!

You can’t go wrong with the Avalanches this month if you’re looking for some upbeat music. The Australian electronic music ensemble is recognized for combining samples and live instrumentation to create bright and joyful melodies.

Girl in Red

Local Sightings Film Festival

The 25th Annual Local Sightings Film Festival is a virtual and in-person celebration of Pacific Northwest creative communities. It is a presentation of moving image artwork from the Pacific Northwest, as well as screenings, seminars, and filmmaker meetups.

Cafe Nordo’s Down The Rabbit Hole

Down The concepts of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland are central to The Rabbit Hole. You’ll be able to see your favorite stories like “The Walrus and the Carpenter” and “The Stolen Tart” put to unique music and performed by a local cast. It’s an event that appeals to all of the senses. In addition, the performance will have a new menu this autumn!

Through the Looking Glass Burlesque Alice in Wonderland

After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, Lily Verlaine and Jasper McCann return to the Triple Door this September for their 2022 season of Lewis Carroll’s famous story of nonsense and fantasy. Watch as Alice discovers a Wonderland unlike any you’ve ever seen. A skilled collection of performers will bring to life a fascinating universe centered on a nightclub, the scary Queen of Hearts, and more!

Karaoke with Baby Ketten

Ektor garcia: matéria prima

Garcia creates his work by combining textiles, ceramics, metalwork, and a queer punk sensibility with Mexican handcraft traditions. A new set of linked-chain sculptures in ceramic, copper, and glass will be on display.

Boren Banner Series: Stefan Gonzales

The Frye is a local arts institution that is a hidden treasure. While the exhibits on the interior are free or by contribution, you may also see additional pieces outdoors, such as the Boren Banner Series. The most current is an artwork by Stefan Gonzales, “who chronicles the lives of ordinary objects through photography, sculpture, and installation.”

Green Book Tour

The Green Book Tour is a new self-guided history tour designed by the Black & Tan Hall, which is set to debut shortly. Depending on your requirements, it is accessible both online and as an app. The trip will take you back to the 1920s and 1930s as you learn about the Black-owned and Black-friendly companies that thrived on Seattle’s Jackson Street.

Free Public Tours of Washington Park Arboretum

The Arboretum is one of Seattle’s nicest places to spend time outside, particularly in the summer. While you may walk it at any time, free tours are available on the first Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SIN at Kremwerk

Ruth E. Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design at MoPOP

More than 60 costumes created by Academy Award winner Ruth E. Carter will be on display during the show. Costumes from films such as Black Panther, Roots, Do the Right Thing, Selma, Malcolm X, and others are showcased.

Silent Reading Party: In-Person

Bremerton Blackberry Festival 2022

This event encourages you to come to enjoy everything “blackberry” on the Bremerton Boardwalk. Over 100 vendors, concerts, beer, blackberry wine, and other items will be available.

Pig Out in the Park 2022
